Pilates is an exercise methodology designed to build core strength and stability while improving balance, flexibility, and coordination. Proper alignment and mobilization of the spine as well as balanced muscle development are emphasized in every skill building exercise.

In our studio setting, we use specialized apparatus to both support and challenge you. This makes the work more precise, more effective, and deeply personalized. Pilates is challenging in the best way: it meets you where you are and honors your body every step of the way.

We are also committed to small groups and individualized attention. The connection goes beyond just a fitness session.

Pilates classes at Aligned Living

Essential

After your initial private sessions and upon teacher recommendation, you may enter our Essential equipment classes. These classes aim to create the foundation you need for progression in Pilates as well as embody the principles and skills for daily function.

Evolve

Upon teacher recommendation based on specific prerequisites, you may enter our Evolve equipment classes. These classes aim to continue to grow your skills and take your practice to the next level.

Excel

Upon teacher recommendation based on specific prerequisites, you may enter our Excel equipment classes. These classes aim to build on previous levels of your Pilates practice and introduce more complex and layered movements.
