Pilates

A movement method ahead of its time, Pilates is a complete system that offers the strength to launch into your day, the flexibility of mind and body to bend with life's challenges, and the balance to remain steady with each breath.

At Aligned Living, we honor the time-tested principles of Pilates while delivering the personalized sessions and classes you deserve. Our focus is on you, not on volume — creating a healthier, happier, and stronger version of yourself every time you walk through our doors.

Yoga

At Aligned Living, we see yoga as a powerful tool for bringing your body, mind, and spirit into true alignment. Our approach to yoga focuses on restoring natural movement patterns, increasing stability and strength, and creating space — physically, mentally, and emotionally — for you to thrive in everyday life.

Yoga here isn’t about performing the "perfect pose" — it’s about tuning into your body’s unique needs, finding balance, and building a deeper, kinder connection with yourself. Through mindful movement, intentional breathwork, and moments of stillness, we help you release tension, improve mobility, and strengthen your foundation from the inside out.

Each class is designed to meet you where you are, offering a fun, safe, and supportive environment to grow. Whether you're stepping onto the mat to stretch, to sweat, to heal, or to simply be, our yoga practice empowers you to move toward greater health, happiness, and alignment — one breath, one stretch, one discovery at a time.

Spinal Flow®

The Spinal Flow® Technique is a philosophy, a science, and an intuitive, hands-on approach that prompts our spine and nervous system to release stress and help heal itself. Our nervous system is the master controller and is so intricately woven in every thought, emotion, sensation, signal, frequency, and action you experience. Spinal Flow® has a primary mission: to optimize your nervous system by activating your body's own innate wisdom and ability to increase your personal flowall the while decreasing the blockages that have formed from physical, emotional, traumatic, or chemical sources. Spinal assessments are complimentary this spring, so come on in and visit with Dr. Theresa, one of the few certified practitioners in the state of Georgia.

Our Philosophy

At Aligned Living, we strive to create a warm, safe, and fun environment where you can truly connect with your body, be heard, explore your true self, and make meaningful progress. We are more than a name — we are your partners, standing beside and behind you as you move your body, mind, and life into alignment.

Our approach to fitness has a clear purpose: to help you regain and maintain biomechanically sound movement patterns that support your everyday life. When the body is aligned, strength, mobility, flexibility, and stability naturally increase, while tension and discomfort decrease. The result? A healthier, happier, and more productive you.

We believe the journey to well-being is a process — one that should be both fun and challenging. We're here to encourage and celebrate you through every stretch, lift, and step along the way!

Upon entering Aligned Living Studio, no matter what is transpiring within the phenomenon (outside world), simply vanishes as the studio is my haven with each and every experience I have ever had there through the years bring a part of this beautiful community! Once I settle into my mat and go within, following the guidance of my wonderful teacher and feeling the energy that is created by the community with each class that is always positive and inspirational

I remain so very grateful. Each and every experience at Aligned Living brings me more peace during my yoga practice and as I make the transition into the outside world once again after a yoga class, studying with the most diligent, kind, and patient teachers for approximately eight years +. Being a student within this fabulous community, I am always thriving with a clear slate on my inner canvas to face the outside world with more peace and strength then I had upon entering before each and every class . Yes, Aligned living can be called my sacred sanctuary for certain - my home away from home. Always as a refuge as I gather more inner strength and then have the opportunity to spread more light wherever I may show up.

I entered Aligned Living in August of 2018 hoping to leave with information about the Yoga classes that were about to start. I met Cory and Bess who quickly suggested that I give Pilates a try since it would be a couple more weeks until the Yoga studio was ready. As they say, the rest is history.

I started classes with Bess and graduated to working under Cory as my skills improved. Tina joined me as a student and now as another of my wonderful teachers. I feel certain that without Cory and Tina I would not have recovered from my knee replacement as quickly and strongly as I have. I love the peaceful meditation and stretching of Yoga (shout out to Rita, Grace, Serena, Lisa, Diane, and Tricia!) and the strength of Pilates (add Melinda too!) It’s the perfect combination for my body and mind.
